Roger Babb, the founder of Roger E. Babb Systems, Inc. has over 40 years experience in the IT industry where he started out as a computer programmer in 1971 on an IBM mainframe and held other positions thoughout the years  which included systems analysis, business analysis, systems management, consulting and marketing.

 

Roger Babb is the primary principal and consultant.  In 1993, he started providing support and custom programming for several software vendors whose products included the IBM 4680 Supermarket Application,  SBT Vision Point and SBT Pro Accounting and Manufacturing Systems.

 

In 1995, the company was incorporated as Roger E. Babb Systems, Inc. and continued to provide the same services as a third party consultant/contract programmer for several vendors.

 

After the acquisition in 1993 of SBT by Accpac, we became an authorized solutions provider and certified consultant for the Accpac Pro System, formerly SBT.  After Accpac was acquired by Sage we continued being an authorized solutions provider and certified consultant with Sage on the Sage Pro System.

 

With the announcement of Sage in 2013 that they planned to retire the Sage Pro System we researched several software vendors and decided to become an authorized partner with AccountMate to market and support their accounting and manufacturing system.
